The Bright Eyes concert is fast approaching. And I'm so excited I might just pee.

There lyrics are amazing. They make you think and yet they are somewhat calming at the same time. At least, I find them calming. If you're one of those people who finds music to be a form of therapy, Bright Eyes is the best. They are the kind of songs that you don't just listen too - but that become a part of you. Those songs that no matter what, they are always playing in the back of your mind. The soundtrack to your life.

I really should start up again with the bass. I mean, Greg said I wasn't the worst he's ever seen. But god, I think I could be playing intruments and writing angsty poems my whole goddamn life and I wouldn't even have a fraction of the talent in that band.

Perhaps I'm just overly obsessed.

I really don't have a deviant site to post anything of talent. I write mostly when I'm in a shitty mood. Usually, although Bettina loves whatever I put on paper, it's not that great. I just kind of do it for the same reasons I listen to music. It helps and I like doing it. Honestly, it's surprising how good I feel after writing something down. 98% of the poems are write are based on ficticious situations and characters, but I used feeling when I write it. I couldn't ever write truthful depictions of my life, I'm a little too shy and sheltered to do so. And most of the time, the emotion someone might have from reading the poem, is totally opposite from the emotions I used to write it.

I guess I'm just one of those girls who won't ever take down her walls.

Meh. I'm bored.
